Unlock
I really love the single. I'm happy kat-tun returned to their original sound for their last single. I fell for Unlock from the first time I heard it, Ame ni is too cool too. But my most favourite is absolutely JET. It's pure kat-tun sound in the line of Soldier and Phoenix. "*insert cool badass tone* Chou kat-tun" like Captain would say. I'm happy it sold over 100k in first day for the first time since 2010 too. I was also moved by the smap fans who bought the CD to support the group. It's nice to see one of your fandoms supporting the other (but why do I always fall for groups who don't bother to dance in synch? XD)
Nakai no mado
Jin-chan was voted best partner for Nakai and he paid it back in the best way possible by making sure to tell us that Maa-kun was having a lot of fun during the Hawai location. Thank you, Jin-chan!
More positive news
Captain's leg seems to be doing better :) I'm also somehow reassured about Shingo. He still didn't update SD yet but I'm under the impression he's looking less lost and gloomy than he did sometime ago. Goro also had some positive comments during his stageplay's MC, and Tsuyopon is still looking too sexy in his drama role
Cero
The news about them guesting in S-Live made me check their youtube channel and I immediately fell in love with their music. Some of their songs remind me of the style of some local indie artists that I like. I think I'll keep an eye (and an ear) on them. I hope they will write songs for SMAP in the future.
Next week
Next week's shows: nodojiman the world, ashita e concert, kinsma special, and nodojiman with Shingo as special MC. Ashita e will be SMAP's first live appearance as a group and in front of an audience since 01/18. It will be a sort of a "come back" (?). But the most important is that they're coming back for the mission they took on for the last 5 years: supporting Japan to recover from 03/11. No matter what happens, they won't give up on their mission.
Five years ago, not only Japan, but also my own country was going through difficult moments, that sxs episode back then was like a ray of hope in the darkness of all the sad news coming from all over the world. I'll never forget those days.
