Don't panic Mr. Mainwaring

How much do you lot care about the old swine 'flu? Not too much I hope, as there's a small chance my colleague, who I lunched with on Friday, has contracted it. Which might mean I have, but you just never know do you?

Anyway, if drpete or I start to show any symptoms, I'll make sure and let you know. This will only apply to the couple of people I saw ( Read more... )

Not too much, really. Apparently valkyriekaren has it, and is in self imposed quarantine. I suppose I should be worried, having an auto-immune illness, but where will worrying get me?

Worry is what the Daily Mail does, so we'll have none of that! I'm more bothered by the thought that I might have infected people than whether I'm going to get it or not. If I do get it, then I have an excellent excuse to torture my colleague...

Well, with my somewhat calamitous immune system, I'd say if you've given it to anyone, you've given it to me. :(

Oh well. I can think of few people I'd rather catch a disease from (and - of course - such a fashionable one at that!).

Darling you do say the sweetest things! Although I'd rather infect people with an appreciation of shoes, or a long-standing love of mock croc luggage.

There's a chance I had it when I had the flu the other week. I hope so anyway.

Let's hope you don't get it, or if you do that it's a very mild dose that gives you immunity.

I hope you had it, in the nicest possible way - get it over and done with! I'm not entirely convinced my colleague does have it, he's probably got Man 'Flu in reality, but it's bound to be worse than that...

I was tempted to keep the gold magnetic soap holder for posterity, but... no. Clean and shiny is the way to go! No more Old Lady Bathroom decor for me. We did find a fragment of the original WALLPAPER they had in the bathroom from about 40 years ago.

Do you think Bodean's can be had on prescription now?
