As someone who never really gets ill1 I'm not sure I can help you there. Like you I'm happy to spend a day or so on the couch, but that's also my limit. Perhaps you should get two strapping young lads to carry you around on your sofa so you can get out and about while feeling fine sitting on the sofa.
Hope you feel better soon.

Being ill is such a waste of time. Taking a day out to loll around on the sofa is a nice choice, it's when it's forced on one that it gets frustrating.
Trouble is, the young lads round here aren't very strapping, and are a bit spotty and gormless. However I do think you've spotted a gap in the market and suggest you proceed with a business plan immediately
I can easily spend weeks lounging around on a sofa so I can't really help, but I find DVD box sets a good thing to watch as, if you pick well, they tend to be much more intelligent and engrossing than films and can last for days rather than just three hours.
In mitigation you do work ridiculously hard so lounging around is more than acceptable. I get raging (catholic) guilt and end up not sleeping properly if I'm not planning and plotting.
However, I do have the House of Cards boxset to wade through, plus the end of Dexter s.3

To be fair, I wouldn't even know where to start with slash, despite having lived with a gay man for 5 years
