can someone explain this to me:

why so often, does the gay community/many gay people, reject and discount trans people?

this i have never understood.

it is a suprise to me that since the person you are in a relationship with is MTF that they prefer the pronoun "he".

because no matter whether people are part of the majority or minority, they will all have their subconscious (or conscious) prejudices, ideas of what it means to be a certain way, etc. mindsets can be a hard thing to break.

well...if you think about all the subsets of the queer community...a lot of "gay" people have some mysterious problem with "bi" people for example...everyone is warring against each other, which does nothing to help our common cause, of course. anyway...i don't know. the world is bizarre.

thats true- i think the bi issue stems from ego problems. but who knows, every queer has thier own bias from experience...
I happen to be totally unapreciative of butch dykes and thier macho presentations... haha
