I am going to get my tounge pierced, but not in the center. I want the "tip" of it pierced. I know it can't be at the very tip, but as close as I can get. I have my web pierced and have had great luck with that...not much swelling or irritation

I got my tongue pierced twice, once in high school and then once after we graduated. The first time the person hit a nerve or something or the piercing wasn't straight and it hurt really bad and the swelling NEVER went down.
The second time though, I went to the same place and it wasn't as bad. Most likely because I knew to take lots and lots of pain meds and to suck on ice for like a week.
The piercing is defiently worth it though!
