Yeah I dunno, there's something about late 70s/early 80s stuff. I think because that stuff started a lot of the cliches that plague anime to death now, but I forgive it because, you know, it was the first. Plus, the art is good, but it's not trying too hard like a lot of anime is now.

If you love 70s anime, you shold check out Leiji matsumoto's stuff, if you dont already love him.

Oh yes, I am a longtime fan of Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999. Totally thought Captain Harlock was a potato-burning hung when I was, like, 12.

Yeah, good times! There's that shower scene in it with the um, genderless protagonist, and I was really young so I was thinking oh wow, this is so bawdy and I'm getting away with watching it! But it really wasn't that bad of a scene, was it?
