I hope you get there in time.
the sad truth is that all humans are mortal; one never knows when those around us will be taken from us.
a couple of weeks ago my sister and I met in upstate New York and saw for the first time in many years the house in which we lived when we were kids.
that was neat, but overshadowing the experience was the thought that of the six of us who lived there, three are already buried in the family plot.
so hug those relatives while you can: treasure them, and don't waste time in squabbling.
it's finite, and too precious for that.
p.s. on that same visit we got in a brief side trip to the old camp meeting community of Round Lake NY. some time when you have a spare moment or two, you might want to dig back to that entry and take a look at the photos - I'm curious as to how it compares to Mt. Tabor, which I've never seen. but that, of course, can (and should) wait: first things first. vaya con diós.
