I hope your family listens to you, so Dave is safer and you have some tranquility, you both deserve it. Good luck to Meg :), I wish you the best for all of you there :)

Also, I hope the weather improves and your cats decide to use the pad you bought for them!!

It's great to hear that Dave's recovering so quickly, yay!! ITA with you about the driving, though; I had a 45-minute commute to work for eight years, and it can be very tiring, especially in bad weather after a long day. Is there a co-worker who'd be willing to give him a ride? That way, you'd have a happy Dave and no driving worries.

Good luck to Meg on her grad school search! Which schools in Pa. is she looking at? (Although, in this crappy weather, I wouldn't blame her for being tempted by Florida. *g*)

Those poor kitties don't know what they're missing. I hope they wise up, and/or the weather warms up soon, for their sakes and for yours. (But give them a ball of yarn or an empty cardboard box, and they'd be all over it. Go figure. :D )

You're very sweet to get them the pad, and I'm glad Dave is doing well. *hugs*
