Oh my gosh. That's so scary. My mom had some major blood clots in her legs a couple years ago when she started to get really sick, so I know how scary that can be. She's been on blood thinners on and off ever since as a safety precaution. Here's hoping they go away and your leg will start feeling better. I'll pray for you, if that's okay. <3
Oh good Lord, Marg! I'd been wondering where you were for several days now; I almost e-mailed you yesterday to see if you were OK.
Thank Heaven for that doc at Promptcare! It's a good thing he was alert enough to spot the possible problem and get you checked out. Clots can be very insidious things; a friend of mine had no symptoms whatsoever before she discovered she had carotid artery disease in a routine checkup. (She had to get emergency surgery.) I'm so glad you got the treatment you needed, and I hope you get back to speed asap. *Hugs*
As for Megan--wow! I thought my niece Marta was a world traveler, but Megan leaves her in the dust. From Japan to England in 26 hours? The jet lag alone would kill me, never mind the long trip. How exciting it must be for her, though! I hope she has a great time on both continents, and returns to the good old USA safely and takes a breather. :)
