Tonight I fit 42 Les Miserables actors in about 150 costumes and came out with a relatively short alterations list, so I am feeling accomplished. In honor of that, I am taking time tonight NOT to sew, but to 1. read some of Neil Gaiman's Sandman series which i'm loving, and 2. do this week's Bridal Blog, which as your subject implies, is dedicated ( Read more... )

My dress was a David's Bridal (shiver) creation, under the "designer" Galina. I tried on a few Oleg Cassini gowns and they were lovely but definitely on the princess-y side. If I had seen that "Dynasty" dress I would have tried it on just for fun. :-D

There was a puffy-marshmallow/merengue-gown-wearing-character in Candyland! How could you forget Queen Frostine?!

I'm thinking maybe next week I'll dedicate the bridal blog to sleeved gowns that don't evoke Linebacker.

a version of Candyland that ~does include Miss Merengue. (And I kinda like the bolero, but that's just me.)
