Why CN sucks...and why even present day Disney is better than their failage!!!
So yeah.........CN sucks.......on SOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY LEVELS!!!!!!
Disney is at least smart....unlike cartoon network....say what you will (I know I do about these things) about High School Musical, Jonas Brothers, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Hannah Montana (I use to like Hannah Montana show at the start...it was cute, but now it just seems eh to me...I never hated it...but the script has become stale...but I don't hate nor ever will-Miley Cyrus. She's basically become the new Hillary Duff for Disney and Little girls. Plus for a girl her age-the pressure to ALWAYS be good must be intense...specially when her biggest fan is her own little sister-so yeah...alot for a 16 year old...but I'm going off on a tangent) My point...say what you will about these series/people...I know I have my fair share of dislike for the new disney stuff...but Disney has always been, a business. They are a successful company...they KNOW what sales...and they KNOW how to sale it.
Unlike the morons of cartoon network-who fear that these shows they buy from others-they won't get to hog as much profit from them because it isn't their own original creation.

On Toon Disney, they put in anime type shows, as well as bringing back some of their original cartoons series that made them famous. Like Kim Possible, Jake Long, Lilo and Stitch, Gargoyles, Mouse of House, Timon and Pumba, Goof Troop, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, and much more!
And as I mentioned...they know what's popular...they bought alot of anime-or anime inspired works.
They acquired the rights to air Digimon (greatest show ever as a kid, and I still have a love for the first 3 seasons), Pucca (adorable), Heck they pulled back Power Rangers (not an anime-but it was an original japanese show), they bought W.I.T.C.H. (I loved that show), for a limited time had Shaman King (unfortunately it was the 4kids dub, but hey...Shaman King was popular and Disney knows how to promote the popular), They managed to get the original Digimon movies for Adventures 02, Tamers, and Frontier dubbed by the original actors that the anime company had originally hired, to promote on Toon Disney (because now kids will have more Digimon movies to add to the First Digimon Movie that had only been out years ago), and a few other things I can't remember. But now they have Naruto...and Naruto is EFFING POPULAR in the states...hate the dub or not of Naruto doesn't matter-you can't deny that Naruto is probably the most popular shounen series in the USA since DBZ itself. And Cartoon Network has to be the BIGGEST MORON for letting the broadcasting and merchandising rights to such a money gold mine go to some one else...but that's what makes up cartoon network....morons.
Also Toon Disney bought Marvel....so they have the rights to Marvel Superheros like the X-Men, Spiderman, and Iron Man (and more) smart move...not only did they show the ORIGINAL CARTOONS for these series on Toon Disney (stuff many kids parents and older siblings grew up with) but they also created their own incarnation animation series to boot....more money for them! Also they brought back on Disney XD/Toon Disney-two of my favorite shows from Middle School-Static Shock, and X-men Evolution!!! THOSE SHOWS ROCKED (so I was pleased Disney brought them back so I could watch them XD) They also brought back some classic 90s cartoons that many kids love.....Batman the Animated Series and Superman the Animated series. (all I need now is for them to bring back good old Batman Beyond, and some Toonami classics, and I will get ready to bow and whorship Disney for their marketing genius...and restoring my childhood)
Not that "Batman Brave and the Bold" Crap or anything stupid rip off Cartoon Network has pulled which is an insult to their former programmings....(like all the DCAU stuff-had AIRED before all of them on Cartoon Network, Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, JLU, as well as X-men Evolution)
And where are most of these programs going???? (let me add anything Fox/Saban/4kids/WB gave up the rights to, either went to Disney or Cartoon Network...Disney clearly markets things better though-obviously, looking at how popular anything with a Disney label on it becomes) Digimon-was a Fox/Saban...where did it go? Disney.

(note, I hate 4kids, but half of the english cast was either really good or decent in their acting (the rest just were annoying or sucked)) Acting and censorship wise-Shaman King probably IS the best dub of theirs (not that it's a good dub...by far no...but that's a rant for another time) but then....Disney U.K. bought the rights to it, and aired it for about a couple years I believe (that's what I heard)
The only WB/4kids programming that has STAYED on CN...is....Pokemon, Yugioh, and some crappy pathetic dump of a cartoon called "Johnny Test???" (Hey Johnny Quest called-he wants his originality in a title for a cartoon BACK!) I don't even know if Yugioh or Pokemon are on there though...from what I heard some crap called Bakumon is like one of the only anime left on the CN programming by a friend. (though it is possible Yugioh 5Ds and Pokemon are just on when she's at school, that's not unheard of)
The reason CN fails on so many levels is....one-they either morbidly fear jumping the shark by letting an original series continue or they jump in jaws mouth by utterly ruining a series..........they don't have much happy mediums.
They suck a program blocking...clearly unlike their glory days, (ah the 90s-up til 2005, we miss you so) They easily let go of gold, when they should cling to it longer like Nick and Disney have done (though Nick is becoming more and more fail like CN, it's not AS FAIL as CN, because they do keep alot of their original stuff on both their network, nicktoons, and as well as Nick at Night)
And there is some gold they cling to so long-they get it dirty...but instead of being responsible and cleaning their gold....instead they drop it without so much effort as a lazy fat kid quits deiting.
They had great original cartoons...but slowly but surely...they let it disappear...piece by piece.
And Toonami...it was great-a whole week of awesome shows! Then we had the Midnight Run on Sat. Great idea CN! GOOD! THAT WAS GOOD THINKING! PROMOTE THE GOOD STUFF THAT ALSO ATTRACTS PRETEENS AND TEENS! Then they took Midnight Run away in favor of Adult Swim (not a total loss at first because Adult Swim came to be home for worthy programming for us as well)Then they decreased the week blocks....then they got rid of the weekday block and it became Toonami only on Sat. Sad, but I could live with it because it had like practically 6 hours of godly awesome stuff!
(then they put that fail of a substitute for Weekday Toonami) Miguzi...that didn't last long...the next bad call came from moving show times and removing others. Megas XLR...probably one of the most hilarious and BRILLIANT original shows they had...they...cancelled it...for no apparent reason. (that's the problem with CN...they don't give you forwarning you're favorite shows and programs are gonna be gone...most TV channels have the curtosy for letting us know...nope not these guys.) Without warning, Kenshin was gone (luckily they finished the season in time...shame they never finished the series ON AIR THOUGH...they did in dvds though) Samurai Jack dissappeared T_T, then without rhyme or reason....Right after the episode when Yusuke dies...again...YU YU HAKUSHO IS NO LONGER ON TOONAMI!!! No, apparently they failed to tell fans that they were finishing the Black Chapter Saga and all of Three Demon Kingdoms saga-AT 4 FREAKING AM IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!!
Then Toonami gets cut more....but new shows come up to the table....Teen Titans, Justice League, and DragonBall...freaking awesome....(Clone wars was lame though BLECH)Naruto made it to the CN Toonami block. (gets widely popular) (this is where slowly Toonami starts taking a turn for the worse as in Tom is no longer cool looking..but hey, Toonami was STILL a better programming than most of the CRAP CN had...so it was tolerated.)
2 shows that came quite popular on Toonami Jetstream.com had a short lived run on CN broadcasting not because dubs suck-not because toonami sucks...but because Cartoon Network sucks. They basically promoted the two animes popular online M.A.R. (one of my favorite manga series acutally) and Prince of Tennis-in high regard...then go to really make fans go WTF when they started posting practically all the episodes of both shows...OUT OF ORDER...seriously confusing people. Seriously, since I read MAR, I was lost when it came to the tv broadcast...because they basically did this with both shows....EPISODE ONE, now EPISODE 4....now...EPISODE 6...now EPISODE 9, next 12, 15, you get the idea...so fans got REALLY LOST. I don't know WHO got put in charge of that...put whoever was, and did that...seriously needs to be hit with a truck! (facepalm) Then they put in another popular show from Jetstream which is shortlived (in my opinion is because the show sucks..but that's me, I've always been a Megaman Robot Masters fan up until Megaman NT Warrior aka Megaman Battle Network fan. Megaman Starforce which came after-seemed like an insult to to Megaman fans...but THAT'S NOT WHY IT FAILED) It failed and had a short lived broadcast because, they never promoted it in ANY commercial on CN...seriously...it just POPPED IN THE TOONAMI LINE UP out of nowhere. Stupid move considering the megaman games are popular in all forms, with each a new generation of fans being brought into the fold with every new game series. So even IF I hated this incarnation of a Megaman game/anime....it had potential to be something...but cartoon network fails so there. They then bring in 4Piece...I mean One Piece-4kids lost the rights this great year of 2006-Funimation then got the broadcasting and dvd rights!!!
Cartoon Network then proceeded to air the 4kids dubbed episodes first til they got where they ended-then went with Funimation picking up where that (censor)fest of a dub left off. (In my opinion airing the 4kids version was a double edge sword. On the one hand if kids NEVER watched the Fox/4kids channel they would of NEVER heard of One Piece, so the characters, story, plot-the kids would be lost if they picked up immediatedly where Funimation took off. Here's the other bad part.....hardcore OP fans have to wait for a brutilzing memory one more time sitting through 4crap-and when the dub finally comes-it's everything they would seriously want in a OP dub with some reservations...naturally like ANY show on toonami-Viz/Funimation animes had to be censored a little for kids. but unlike 4crap they weren't butched/hacked/raped. They were reasonably and acceptable censors that Cartoon Network has to follow by law. So fans would have to deal with it being slightly cut (I think Funimation-for the sake of the fans were getting CN trying to be lieniet as they possibly were allowed to within the regualtions of the FCC. Nice of them) but ALSO fans had to sit with the fact that...for the sake of new fans who've never been introduced to the show and only seen 4piece's verison...names that 4kids changed stayed on the Broadcast. The Ship-Going Merry was still "Merry Go" Zoro was still "Zolo" Smoker was still "Chaser" and Ace was still (cringes so hard) "Trace"....Funimation HAD NO CHOICE they had to do it...fans had to deal with it....but they accepted it....but my point the double edge sword of airing OP like that is....People were STILL exposed to the crappy verison of OP first that have never heard of it. (so it would put people off) however had they not put ANY of those 4crap episodes up-nobody would know really much the heck was going on in Funimations godly awesome dub. (on the plus side, funimation was redubbing the WHOLE SERIES that 4kids butchered, cut out, edited-with Uncut and Unedited DVDS 8D and that's how their dvds were gonna stay...One Piece in it's original form...uncut and unedited)
Then shows that are so popular like Justice League, Teen Titans, One Piece Funimation Dub are gone...Samurai Jack and DBZ make a return (but it is soon short lived...because the end is inevitable-but I'll get back to that later) They did away with Month of Miyasaki!!! (not cool) Then Toonami got cut back MORE because like every other Sat. or so they would do a movie with Toonami. It was usually either a Naruto movie, (for some random reason, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker-UNCUT AND UNEDITED!!!-not that I was complaining about that being aired I love that movie...i have the dvd...anyways...the real mystery is HOW IN THE WORLD did they air THAT MOVIE uncut and unedited without Soccer Moms, the FCC, and stupid other stupid people killing them is beyond me...they further asound me that they air the LIVE ACTION SPIDER MAN MOVIE (PG-13 on Toonami around 7:00...where little kids could see it...Soccer moms would be going Super Saiyan BSing PMS all over them normally!!! but obviously either they did complain but the FCC didn't care because they would continue to show PG-13/darker/uncut types of movies like the old Batman Movies (Burton), other live action junk (the heck this is CARTOON Network people) Return of the Joker, Naruto-unedited, sometimes there would be a Pokemon movie here and there...but yeah...most of it was more....preteen/teen targeted movies???? Weird handle on that CN.
More and more got cut out....til finally.......out of nowhere.....Tom says his final goodbyes and it's Toonami's last broadcast. "Bang".....seriously...YOU SERIOUSLY THROW THAT ON US OUT OF NOWHERE?!?!?! Loyal fans to toonami who actually sat through and stood by Toonami for the past 11 years....sitting through 2-3 worst toonami years, but did it because they were loyal and faithful fans....instanly...you KNOW CN has lost ALOT of it's viewers. (morons...simply morons) they furhter prove this point by taking more and more anime off Adult Swim. (InuYasha, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, FullMetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Witch Hunter Robin, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Shamploo, FLCL) pretty much nowhere to be seen!! GONE!!!! Bleach then gets put on like every other Sat. (they finally put it back to like once a sat...morons) but then....one of the dumbest things ever....just like with Yu Yu Hakusho.....Code Geass and some other anime I'm not familar with- was taken from the main adult swim block to like 5 freaking am in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without a doubt...anything Disney touches...practically becomes gold! They seriously have the midis touch! (I bet if if either they or funimaiton asked, they would hands down gladly air One Piece too like Naruto, because Disney LOVES the popular...it's majority like....popular sales-makes them rich...seriously-even if it's a two-faced obvious marketing ploy on what they bring back and crap....I admire and applaud Disney for it. Nice of them) but ALSO fans had to sit with the fact that...for the sake of new fans who've never been introduced to the show and only seen 4piece's verison...names that 4kids changed stayed on the Broadcast. The Ship-Going Merry was still "Merry Go" Zoro was still "Zolo" Smoker was still "Chaser" and Ace was still (cringes so hard) "Trace"....Funimation HAD NO CHOICE they had to do it...fans had to deal with it....but they accepted it....but my point the double edge sword of airing OP like that is....People were STILL exposed to the crappy verison of OP first that have never heard of it. (so it would put people off) however had they not put ANY of those 4crap episodes up-nobody would know really much the heck was going on in Funimations godly awesome dub. (on the plus side, funimation was redubbing the WHOLE SERIES that 4kids butchered, cut out, edited-with Uncut and Unedited DVDS 8D and that's how their dvds were gonna stay...One Piece in it's original form...uncut and unedited)
Then shows that are so popular like Justice League, Teen Titans, One Piece Funimation Dub are gone...Samurai Jack and DBZ make a return (but it is soon short lived...because the end is inevitable-but I'll get back to that later) They did away with Month of Miyasaki!!! (not cool) Then Toonami got cut back MORE because like every other Sat. or so they would do a movie with Toonami. It was usually either a Naruto movie, (for some random reason, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker-UNCUT AND UNEDITED!!!-not that I was complaining about that being aired I love that movie...i have the dvd...anyways...the real mystery is HOW IN THE WORLD did they air THAT MOVIE uncut and unedited without Soccer Moms, the FCC, and stupid other stupid people killing them is beyond me...they further asound me that they air the LIVE ACTION SPIDER MAN MOVIE (PG-13 on Toonami around 7:00...where little kids could see it...Soccer moms would be going Super Saiyan BSing PMS all over them normally!!! but obviously either they did complain but the FCC didn't care because they would continue to show PG-13/darker/uncut types of movies like the old Batman Movies (Burton), other live action junk (the heck this is CARTOON Network people) Return of the Joker, Naruto-unedited, sometimes there would be a Pokemon movie here and there...but yeah...most of it was more....preteen/teen targeted movies???? Weird handle on that CN.
More and more got cut out....til finally.......out of nowhere.....Tom says his final goodbyes and it's Toonami's last broadcast. "Bang".....seriously...YOU SERIOUSLY THROW THAT ON US OUT OF NOWHERE?!?!?! Loyal fans to toonami who actually sat through and stood by Toonami for the past 11 years....sitting through 2-3 worst toonami years, but did it because they were loyal and faithful fans....instanly...you KNOW CN has lost ALOT of it's viewers. (morons...simply morons) they furhter prove this point by taking more and more anime off Adult Swim. (InuYasha, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, FullMetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Witch Hunter Robin, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Shamploo, FLCL) pretty much nowhere to be seen!! GONE!!!! Bleach then gets put on like every other Sat. (they finally put it back to like once a sat...morons) but then....one of the dumbest things ever....just like with Yu Yu Hakusho.....Code Geass and some other anime I'm not familar with- was taken from the main adult swim block to like 5 freaking am in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without a doubt...anything Disney touches...practically becomes gold! They seriously have the midis touch! (I bet if if either they or funimaiton asked, they would hands down gladly air One Piece too like Naruto, because Disney LOVES the popular...it's majority like....popular sales-makes them rich...seriously-even if it's a two-faced obvious marketing ploy on what they bring back and crap....I admire and applaud Disney for it. They aren't AFRAID to EVER jump the shark...if it was/is popular...made money, and was well recieved...yeah Disney is gonna want it....isn't that what a High business company like Disney are SUPPOSED TO DO??? Sure they are the family/kid friendly entertainment industry that captures magic, beauty and all that good stuff in most of their movies, their theme parks, music....but they ALSO are the family/kid friendly industry whose STINKING RICH!!! XD hahahahaha. Disney are good salesmen...disney knows how to make a profit...disney knows how to take an underdog and glorify to something that will have them rolling in green!
CN is becoming the opposite. They are becoming like one of the main villains in Batman Beyond...called Blight-who was litterly a walking radioactive meltdown-glowing skeleton!!! CN is....well since I'm comparing them to Blight...let's use one of his quotes shall we?! "There shall be a Blight upon the land. And everthing I (CN) touch, shall whither and die!!!"

Toonami didn't NEED to be cancelled. Whoever made that judgement call, suggested it...heck, even casually MENTIONED it..!!!
