Seriously though, people hate him cause he has a crush on Kari?? Bitter, insecure lil' shippers :) (shows that they are frightened of him coming between their beloved ship)
You need to do a Sorato rant or something seriously!
Although I guess there isn't much to rant about...considering it has no evidence other than the epilogue :)
Love your exploration of Davis' character vs. Tai- and the whole "foil" thing- that was really interesting. You should do more of that character/relationship literary stuff. Be curious to see one of the girls even.
Yeah, hating a character for a ship usually just means that you're bitter cause you think the person has a better chance with one of the people in your ship- you feel threatened. That's the main reason usually.
If they felt confidant in Takari they wouldn't give a damn then, would they?
Well, I don't bash TK and I support Daikari big time. Not even fun to do really, Rin. =/ I just think it sad people hate Davis. Though sometimes, I kinda wished the writers of 02 had given him more time to shine, or for the others tor eally respect his opinion as their somewhat de factor leader, but that's me.
There was a lot of wasted potential in 02....honestly, Davis was treated rather nicely in comparison to how many other characters got even WORSE shafts than Davis could dream of.
And yeah, I never bash TK...but I love Daikari and TK....guess what Takarians...most Daikari people that I've run into love TK...if anyone bashes or hates TK they are a very very VERY small minority!

Oh there is a REASON I never go around discussing Digimon ships...they're NUTS!
(Though I never seem to run into Daikari fans that bash T.K....interesting =_=)
