So I rented a few kids DVDs from the library, and Peter Pan really wanted to watch the Wiggles Safari - and it's making me sad. No more Steve Irwin, no more Greg Wiggle...

Wait, what happned to Greg wiggle?

His heart is busted - he has a health problem where any time he is vertical, he passes out - it's related to blood pressure. But it means he can't stand, or sit, or dance, or sing (unless he's in bed...) So his understudy is now the new yellow Wiggle.

The guy has already been the yellow Wiggle in 150+ stage shows, over the last 5 years, but still, it's not Greg. He was my favorite.

Oh no! I just saw your post and did a search to see what was up with Greg. (Should have just read the comments, duh.)

How sad! I love Greg! I hope I never have to be the one to explain this to Avery.

Hopefully she never asks - there is going to be a new yellow Wiggle, I think his name is Sam, so it's not like the yellow Wiggle is totally gone.

A few years ago we got to see the Wiggles in concert.
Greg wasn't there because his mother-in-law died, I think. The substitute Greg was pudgy. It wasn't the same.
Maaayyybee the kids won't notice the change but, Greg is Greg is Greg!
At least my son is way over the Wiggles (although we can all still sing all the songs) and my daughter doesn't want to watch it anymore now.
I guess I'm off the hook! :) I don't have to worry about talking about any change... whew!
