I am feeling anger this morning upon hearing the news that CadburySchweppes have bought out Green & Blacks chocolate.

Green & Blacks is organic chocolate, some of their bars are fairtrade, and they are part of the soil association. It angers me that a huge monopoly could come along and possibly take all that away....

... after all, Cadbury already own chocolate brands. In buying Green & Blacks they probably intend to run it as-is and just exploit their existing cost leverage and distribution capability - ie. same products, just more profitable for them. You might not like the sound of it but that's capitalism - and you do end up with the same products at (probably) the same price. They'd be nuts to damage the brand.
