Voted. No lines, which doesn't seem natural. Gave the poor guy with the stickers a bad moment, as I was wearing my racktacular Green Lantern tank top, which offers basically no place both flat and respectable- he eventually settled for sticking the sticker on the top of my shoulder

Eight-thirty appears to be the magic time when the early people are gone and everyone else is either at work or still in bed.

In addition to making me look like Power Girl's little sister, it works like a duck call for geeks- my geology TA and I just spent half the class discussing cosmic comics and why Marvel seems to like the idea so much better than DC. (My favorite is still the old guy I ran into at the cafeteria who complimented my shirt and added that he'd picked up a few Lantern comics recently and didn't see why they needed all these new people he didn't recognize, and they really should have just stuck with Alan Scott.)

Good luck at the polls- I will cross my fingers for short lines for you!

But seriously, you can't stop jittering after what I'm presuming was just a small coffee? Oy, I'd hate to see what would happen if you had one of my usual drinks. 4 to 6 shots of espresso, plus about 6 to 10 packets of sugar.

Sugar doesn't do much to me. Caffeine... well. I drink water most days, so my resistance is down around sea level. On the plus side, enough Coke for an all-nighter is cheap...
