you basically have read my mind with thoughts on romance. Chris is 100% the same...
last night, our 5th anniversary and valentines day, i suggested we go to dinner and see a band, I thought that meant we'd made plans, but no, he went to football training then stayed and watched a 2nd game till 10:30...
it crossed my mind he could have been out doing something romantic, but no... soccer is very unromantic....

of course i'm going to ask if you've shared these feelings with him because unfortunately most guys just don't get it, you have to tell them straight up what you want and still sometimes they don't get it . . . i know what you mean though romance has been bred out of the men in our generation . . . maybe it's because we shack up with them so fast . . . anyway, you definitely deserve some romance and i think you should take steps to get what you want.

love you babe

<3.
Know whatcha mean. Yesterday went surprisingly well (he turned down an invite to go watch the game with the boys...) on my end, but overall... it would be nice to just.. go DO something once in a while. Even if it's just a walk...

He took me for lunch on Friday and then after spending the afternoon napping in the sunshine, we went grocery shopping (he paid) and then came home for a late dinner and watched a movie.
I guess thursday we were both tired so he said that friday he was making it up to me.

It was good. He knows I like going on dates and he knows I like romance... but he just doesn't really know how to dish it out. I'll take a grocery shopping date over a night of hockey game and tetris any day.

I sometimes wonder if I can be romantic, and be original, and not get all my ideas from movies and tv shows.

I like to think I have some romance, but I usually screw it up. I think it's because I'm out of 'romance-shape'
