I'm learning to make Paska all by myself. I decided to start making it for Easter this year since Mom won't be around for Easter. Plus, we haven't had it in years and it's so good.

One is a cross and the other is a bird. (The bird didn't turn out very well. They're hard to make properly.)

I miss you. We should get together soon. I'd say next Sunday for wings, but it's Easter and I presume you'll be doing stuff... we have a lot to catch up on though.

I'm off work on Friday and I'm baking bread on Saturday. Do you have any days off this weekend? I think Saturday we're doing easter dinner at the Merrick's. Sunday we're doing brunch. I could possibly go out Sunday... but I can't really double book myself on family occasion days since I never know how long they'll last.

However, any week night I am free. Just call me when you've got some spare time. I'm game for whatever.

Paska is Ukrainian Easter bread traditionally made to be included in a basket of food taken to the church and blessed by the Priest. The bread represents the body of Christ ( ... )
