I have an appointment at the bank tomorrow to ask for some loan consolidation. Hopefully this consolidation (if they give me what I'm asking for) will allow me to lease a new car in may or june. Yup, I think I'm going to lease a car for 4 years. I calculated the following for all your nay-sayers:

1)sounds like a good idea
2)a four year old car is a baby, remember 4 year olds are barely just out of toddler stage and have a whole life to live
3)car is sexy
4)sometimes you write your entries in an ebb and flow that makes me laugh with delight
5)can i use ebb and flow to refer to an lj post
6)that mileage thing is something to consider
7)lists keep things organized, i like them

Yes, I know a 4 year old car is still a baby, but if I get the car that I want, it in no way compares to the latest model (at the same lease price). Also 4 years old would be the youngest car I'd be able to afford... something more along the lines of 6 or 7 years old would be more likely, and I don't want to spend that money on a car that is pushing 10 years.

Anyways, I'm so excited about the bank. Isn't that weird?

Sam, I like your lists.
Mansam, how much mileage were you alloted per year? 24000 kms? My brother Matt just traded in his Yaris in early for a Camry and he went over the kms and they didn't charge him for it... I think if I go with the 2009 Matrix (SO HOT) I'll definitely go to the same dealer as he did.

you only get 16666/year? That seems low, does it not? Any lease agreement I've seen online is always 24000/year or more. HMM.
