This one was kind of particularly hilarious; I sent him a text message that said: "I think I prefer to smoke [over his ultimatum that I either not smoke when I'm around him, or not see him]. It was fun while it lasted, almost up until the end."

One time I gave you a sweaty, gross werthers original after yr cigarette so we could make out on the drive home in someone(?)'s car for some (?) event and we got in a fight because you threw it out and I had to make out with yr cigarette breath. Wasn't that a funny thing to fight about? I thought it was the most romantic werther's original ever, at the time, idiotically. I'm glad you aren't taking any shit.
