Dead or Alive? You Spin Me Round, Brand New Lover, etc- all pretty shallow and happy.

they're not exactly my taste, but the Polyphonic Spree and Flaming Lips are both very empathic/encouraging.

When I'm feeling down, I listen to light, silly things, like 80s music or disco (Saturday Night Fever, baby!!). I also listen to a lot of 60s music as its no as deep as some other things out there. And, if all that fails, I listen to some really great jazz or bossa nova...something that will distract me from ...whatver. :)
