I suppose it's just hard for me to be sure that I'm doing enough, and I don't want to let him down. Masaaki would probably tell me to calm down, as well. Since I cannot show him a loving relationship... I suppose I thought the next best thing would be to make sure that he had one.

I just don't want him to lose anyone else he cares about. He's lost enough. To be honest with you... his mother died saving his life... It's a lot for a person to carry around, especially someone like Ichigo. I don't want him to lose anyone else.

Do you really think so...? Thank you, Maria. It means a lot to me to hear you say that. I just want my children to be deprived of nothing! They're so great, all three of them!

It's not so bad for me. I miss Masaaki terribly, but as I told Ichigo a few times, she wouldn't have been the woman that I loved if she hadn't be the sort of woman who was willing to sacrifice herself to protect her children. That's just the sort of a mother she was.

I appreciate you speaking your mind! And you were probably right... So, thank you, Maria! I've never met anyone like you either. You know I think that you're terrific!
