It took me forever and a day to update this, thanks to school, work and a very persnickety sex scene that truly tested the sturdiness of Laurie's piano... but finally, I'm done with the second part of Tempo and Rhythm. I know you posted this forever ago, but you did this scene fabulously, darling! I'm not particularly into this fandom, or a fan of Laurie (for shame!), but this scene is very hot.

Gasp! You should be ashamed-- not a fan of Laurie? Even Christian Bale's Laurie? Next thing you know, you'll tell me you prefer Professor Bhaer and I shall have to leave all associations with you behind. I couldn't stand such depravity. ;)

And sex against or in addition to any sort of musical instrument would be hot-- plus or minus violins. They might snap against too vigorous activity!

(Pianos, cellos and flutes, though... I think you can get a sense of where they'd find a certain utility...)

I think this was even better than their 1st night! And the way you portrayed laurie's love and passion for jo, even 4 years into their marriage, was very touching.

I'm glad you enjoyed this! Writing this mini was a lot of fun and I'm actually putting up another (and last) NC-17 fic about these two sometime over the summer. (One where they're not even married-- gasp!) I just love exploring Jo and Laurie together and seeing all the interesting configurations they can get into. They never cease to amuse, frankly. ;)

Not only are they not married, they're doing it a couple of days after Amy kicks the bucket!

It's rather twisted but I have to admit, I had a hell of a lot of fun writing that story... even if Jo and Laurie practically end up cavorting on Amy's grave.

On the other hand, if you dislike Amy, you might really enjoy that one-shot. ;)
