 Hmm-

I need to get it all down in writing. It seems only logical in my mind.

It has been close to six months since I packed up a couple of suit cases with Annabelle and came back to Omaha. Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy.

Why? Well, I left John. Cold turkey, no looking back. To anybody looking in, it would seem like a very logical and ( Read more... )

Stay strong, kid. You already are. Having a little someone think of you as the strongest and bravest person in the world obviously helps you realize that you are. I am really proud of you for having the pride and sense of self to get out of there. Honestly, I am amazed at everything that you are not just surviving but actually accomplishing right now. I'm gonna be around some during Thanksgiving but more during Christmas, and I think it would be great to hang out and catch up. Perhaps it is trite, but I feel like the past few months I've been able to get to know a little bit about you again, and I'm leaving this message for a friend. I will be in the cities over Thanksgiving. However, I would love to get together over Christmas.

I am so so happy that you have this. And I think I've found something similar, for the first time I think. It's wonderful to realize things can actually be really good, both for myself and for others, and not an idea of what good should be.
If you're ever up in the Cities I'd love to get coffee (I'm living in Minneapolis doing Lutheran Volunteer Corps for the year). Be well!

I'm actually not going back to Naperville for Thanksgiving because my parents are here this weekend for my birthday, so I'm not going home until Christmas. So if you have a free hour or two when you're here, definitely give me a call! My cell is 630-989-6006.
