Summary: i love you for you, not for what you're made up to be.

It’s funny isn’t it? How when you fall in love, that’s all you think about. You think about that person, and how much you love them and what you’d do just to be with them forever. It’s even funnier when the person you love doesn’t even know you exist. Everyone that knows laughs at me for it, so I’ve come to realize it’s funny too, but truth be told; there’s really nothing to laugh about.

Every time I see you I get butterflies, not just those light butterflies, but I get that feeling. The feeling you get when you’re falling from a high distance, like your heart could burst out of your chest any second. I grew fond of this feeling, and I grew fond of looking at you. Everything about you is perfect in my eyes, those plump pink lips and that lustrous blonde hair, is it even normal for a male to look as good as you?

But it’s not your looks that attract me towards you, there’s definitely something deeper. There’s a lot more to you than your dashing good looks, you’re a sincere person. You make everyone laugh with your crazy antics, you make me happy just looking at you, looking at that infallible smile. It’s crazy to think about, but when I look at you, it’s like falling in love allover again.

I remember looking at you for the very first time, I remember the way my heart started beating rapidly and the way my pupils dilated, I knew I had fallen in love. At first it felt surreal, I didn’t know I could feel this attracted to someone of the same gender, what was I? A freak? I didn’t think of it negatively, but I knew others would. So I kept it a secret, not just from others, but from myself. I refused to believe that I had fallen that hard for someone whom I knew was unreachable.

Days went by. Nothing. Was I beginning to loose that love I had towards you? I felt nothing when I looked at you. I felt inept because I couldn’t help myself, but at the same time I didn’t want to be helped. I tried to look deep within myself, and that’s when I realized I had fallen in love with the person you were.

Looking at you did nothing for me, looking at you just confused me, it made me believe that you were just another pretty face, nothing special. But when you opened your mouth, everything changed. You began speaking to me, and every word that came out of your mouth was like a poem to me. You had such eloquence in the way you spoke, you had that witty sense of humor that drove people near you. You were likeable.

That’s when I knew I was head over heels for you. At first you were distant, you didn’t want to be near me, and I could sense that. I understood fully and gave you your space, but as time progressed you opened up and you spoke to me, and ever since then I knew I had fallen for you.

There’s definitely more to you than your looks, you’re a beautiful person inside and out and I’m glad I can at least call you my friend. Though you’ll always be oblivious to my actual feelings, all I can do now is cherish what we have and enjoy every moment I spend with you.

It’s funny isn’t it? That when you fall in love, that’s all you can think about…that’s all you ever come to know, and I’m more than fine with always having you on my mind.
