Right now I'm watching the match England vs. Holland - and though the English made two huuuuge mistakes which resulted in two goals, their play today is much better and faster than the German. And I won't even start about the Dutch. If the N11 goes on playing like they did in the recent matches, they don't stand a chance against the bigger teams. Dunno, but somehow Jogi destroyed everything that made our team strong. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there's no real team spirit anymore.

I have the feeling that I'm finding it difficult to put up "team spirit" for the NT again ... Maybe he's testing too much and making the "You gotta fight for your place" thing all too obvious. Then again, maybe I'm just entering the Disillusion Phase Of Footie Fandom ... And now apparently Micha was bitching about Frings, oh dear me.

Phew, so I'm not alone. Actually I'm right in the middle of the disillusion phase and I'm really afraid of the outcome o_O For me it all started with Gomez joining the Babarians and Pupsi obviously wanting to go there as well. By the way - did you read the stuff about Jens and his Stinkefinger? Ooops, he did it again ;)

As absolutelynot1 just told me (sharing my coach, er, couch for the match - I really typed that typo ...!), apparently Kahn bitched today how Jens should finally stop bringing himself up for discussion for the NT. Poor guy, he must be all "Oh noooo, the BuLi's starting again and no one's talking about meeee!!" XD

Kahn ... tse. Did Jens even talk about his NT ambitions lately? *scratches head*

Good analysis and we can only hope whoever will be no 1 will be able to prove himself in his first big challenge. Because for all four it will be the first time in a way. But I am feeling since month that they have already chosen Enke anyway. Didn't jogi say who gets the call-up for the next game will pretty much be in? I wonder who will get to play. I would bet on Robert again.. I don't think he would risk Wiese because the game against Russia is so important (if they lose they have to go into that knock-out round and if they get Croatia or have a bad day they can say good-bye to the WC o_O) and well.. Wiese. And he won't risk Neuer or Adler because if they fail everyone is going to say, why did you use those young lads in an important game like that? Oh well, we'll see ( ... )

Dunno, I'm not convinced by Enke at all. He seems to be invisible at times - and I'm not sure if that's a good thing for a goalie. Alles in allem sehe ich jedenfalls schwarz für das Spiel gegen Russland.

I had the feeling that Jens would have done his little Angry!Goalie!Choreography at his defense boys quite a lot today. And I think I saw Enke swear once ... or twice?

Yes, I saw him swearing once as well - but his swearing just doesn't have the same quality as Jens' swearing ;) In addition he just doesn't look threatening enough. Dunno - da hat ja sogar der Tussentoaster!Tim mehr Charisma *g*
