Yes, I'm joining the rally calling for help for Haiti. It's been 5 days since the eathquake. I whish I've done this before but electricity is not exactly efficient here nowdays either (¬¬). Haiti is the poorest country in this side of the world, and to top that nature hits them with all its force. Talking about anti-fortuna. The capital was

The whole thing is so unimaginable horrible I try not to think about it too much because it would make me really depressed.
I'm planning on donating some money. I can't afford much but I guess even little will help and add to it. :) What do you think would be the best and most direct way? The Red Cross?

And you better don´t hon. I had to stopped watching. I'm well awared of their situation so all I have left (and can) to do is help anyway I can. I think donating to the Red Cross is a good way to do so. It's not much what I'm giving them but it's still better than what they've had. And the poor souls keep getting aftershots *flails* Come on! Today's was 6.1.

I've been thinking about donating before, but like trampadoo I'm not sure yet which organisation to take. I've been sponsering a kid from Bangladesh for several years now via Worldvision and I know that Worldvision are collecting money for Haiti as well - so that would be the easiest way for me. But dunno, probably the Red Cross is the better choice in this case ... hm ... *scratches head*

*Points at comment above* Yeap, I think donating to the Red Cross is a good (and save) way to help. That's what I'm doing. Oh wait, now I remember, I think Unicef has a special account too. Although I tried to donate through them but at the end I couldn't thanks to the burocrasy with the foreign money.
