I've come to realize...i despise the SAT. With a passion. It's not a measure of one's intellect, it's a measure of how well they can do on a logical thinking test designed to try to trick you. It's still very important, but put it this way. One of my best friends got lower than I did on her SATs by 10 points. We both applied to the same schools but she applied to one more that I didn't apply to.
She got into them all and I got into one.
Oh and btw...the one she applied to that I didn't was NYU. She only had an 1170 and they accepted her.
So don't fret about SATs. We had the exact same stats except she took more APs than I did and one school declined me and gave her a $30,000 scholarship. That alone proves it's much more than SATs. So no worries Mary! Don't kill yourself over SATs! I'm not a good test taker either. Just keep up with those APs because they honestly do look very good.
