i've been "displaced" for 13 months now. housesitting, moving from place to place. can't settle anywhere here becuase i am on my way out. only a few more months until i get my taste of my own place to call home. i can't wait. i'm happy that you have found a space suitable to become your home :)
It seems as though I've always been "on my way out'. In hindsight, it would have been nice to know that this place was a little more than temporary for me. I never thought I'd be in Sarasota this long. Currently, I know I'm here until at least the time when Gryphon is potty trained. I hope you find your bliss in a new place. I am learning to be content sitting still. It's definitely a steep curve. I don't like ot much. It's hard forcing a lifestyle that is so completely against my nature. Although, I remember the longing I had for a "settled life" when I was constantly on the move...
We have a Shephard mix and a Boxer mix. However, after almost three years, I still do not consider them my dogs (Matt had them before we met). I feel bad about it, but I do not find them very pleasant to be around. The reason for this stems from many thing;, I'll talk to you about it when I get there. I have a good deal of knowledge of different breeds (my mom's a vet)...
