FFNet
Now, I'm pretty new to FFNet - still on my first story and all - but some of the things that site does are just plain odd - and this was just plain cruel:
Chapter 20 took me ages to get right, really sodding ages. And then I gave up and posted it anyway. Feeling a little bit unsure about it I logged back in to check how many people had read it and was informed that it had received exactly zero hits from zero visitors.
As I'd already received about ten reviews by this stage I knew it wasn't quite right - but stil!! I swear my bottom lip started to tremble...
Is this kind of author abuse a regular thing? Am I going to have to have a stiff drink each time I log in?
Actually, maybe that wouldn't be *such* a bad thing...
