Our weather has been very odd. 72 yesterday and it Snowed last week...enough snow to make a snowman and throw snowballs. We are expecting record lows again tomorrow. up/down  up/down . It sure feels strange and you never know what to wear. Sunday I was sweating it was so warm and humid.

I have been (sorta) green for awhile, conserving energy by turning off what I'm not using, uplugging appliances that I won't be using again until the next day (coffee pot, tv, desktop computer, lamps, microwave, etc), keeping doors and windows closed when the heat pump is in use, and using those energy conserving light bulbs. I also compost non meat and dairy produce, recycle, and burn paper trash. My daughter 'discovered' being Green online or somewhere and told me about six months ago that I should go Green. *sigh* I realize that global warming is in progress, but with conscientious effort I think that can be turned around and the earth can heal.

The temperatures down here are wierd too, with snow one day and shirt sleeve weather the next. I prefer the shirt sleeve weather...maybe it will give us a chance to recover from the power board (monopoly) price spikes during more severe weather, eh?
