When I went to Barcelona, we were walking down the street at like 2AM and some girl came up to us and asked us if we knew where the subway was. We recognized her accent as being American, so we asked her where she was from. She said she was from Altadena! Isn't that crazy!? I actually know the exact street that she lives on - it was pretty intense!

man, well, i said i was from socal, from a town named la canada, and i immediately started to say "its near pasadena.." but he automatically was like. "la canada!"
another crazy thing it that one of my managers is from pasadena, and most of her friends are from la canada.
but barcelona!! thats an even crazier place to find someone from that area!
