I'm coming home tomorrow woo!! Currently though, I am mucking through homework so I won't have to do anything... I must admit that I'm not a people person, luckily, you don't have to be in order to succeed in public relations. I'm also not really a "team player", I'd rather just do everything myself ( Read more... )

Hey Sorry I never answered. I was thinking about proposing a contract law that applied to both married and unmarried couples that would provide all the same benefits as married people have now. It would be good because it could also cover heterosexual people who are living together. However, after Texas' voting on proposition two I think I've decided that in order for democracy to be fair, the government should stop acknowledging married people. It seems that either everyone who wants to be married should be able to, or nobody should. I am trying to base this argument on the idea that marriage is a "church" idea, and thus the government's recognition of marriage invalidates the idea of separation of church and state. What do you think about this idea (that marriage is a "church" idea)? I ask for your opinion because you're smart and I am considering writing about this for my thesis so I need to make sure I cover my bases:-d

OMG, I just noticed you did that, as I now have two emails from you. First I thought I was just seeing things because I'm in marketing and even though we don't have the day off, he said we should so we're just watching commercials from the 50's...whoa!..I would loveee to see your paper on the topic:-)
