As you all may have gathered, I have become a fan of this illustrator. This wordless story carries many of the best qualities of her work, so I loved it even though I might not even have liked it in the hands of someone less gifted. It convinced me to love it, you know?

Ben Hatke drew one of the cutest comics ever in Flight (did you read Flight? all of them?)!

I did not read all of them but I have read many of them and they are on the list of series I want to get caught up on.

That probably explains why his drawing style felt positively familiar.

I bet you would like the Little Robot book, if you haven't seen it already.
