Work on the '70's department store bike progresses well. The bearings and races in the fork have been replaced as have the bearings in the bottom bracket. Next will be deciding on the restoration of the brakes and fenders where the decision is exactly what to fix and what the replace. You should learn how to restore typewriters XD And then you should do it for me... For free... As it's generally expensive.

Though step 1 for me would be to actually BUY a typewriter...

That's not an item I think you'll see on many Christmas lists though. I actually *do* have a vintage typewriter, circa 1940-1950, but I don't really have any reason to *use* it...at the moment...

PSH! It's on my Christmas list, but I'm not going to be getting one as Ally doesn't have the money and my parents are getting me a tuba, which are pretty expensive. I really want one from the 1930's because they have round keys, and I like the way they look better than square keys. Though anything from 1930-1955 would be acceptable. I'm planning on going the old school way and writing with a typewriter mostly because a lot of my favorite authors used typewriters. I think the only author that I really like that may not have used a typewriter is Jonathan Safran Foer since he's the only one from this time period. Haha.

I would learn to restore them myself, but I doubt I'd be good at it for two reasons: 1. I suck with mechanical stuff, and 2. I'm very clumsy. Maybe I'll get Ally to do it! XD
