Ahhh I can't believe this has me in floods of tears. I'm being so sappy at the moment. But god, you wrote it so well. Poor Dan :( I'm glad you ended it the way you did though. It's quite positive, in a way, 'cause Dan loved his summer with Fernando so much it was actually worth the loss he felt when Fernando left.

Awwh *hugs* I'm sappy all the time, don't worry! Even if Dan is so hurt right now he will eventually move on, and look back at the memories with a smile on his face. Maybe there'll always be a sting of pain every time he thinks of Nando, but it'll be worth it!
