I don't know about you, but the sight of a very short man romantically attached to a much taller woman has always made me laugh.

Seeing said man getting dumped is similarily pleasing.

Watching on as said individual hooks up with yet another much taller woman can only induce the kind of laughter one usually associates to street comics

If she doesn't care about the numerous affairs Nicolas has, she's perfect for him. Though he'll get bored with her after a while. He always does. Nicolas cares about the chase, the conquest. He goes after those who will challenge him and resist him. Once they give in, he gets bored and starts looking elsewhere. Just ask dear Ceci.

Well he did chase after Cécilia for 18 years, that's rather a long while.

Mon dieu, he's never going to give up on me, is he? I'm almost tempted to sleep with him just to shut him up, only I know that would either lose any respect he has for me, or else (and more likely) he'd start to crave me like a drug and carry on pleading.
