15. If you could ask Sofia Coppola one question, what would it be?:
I would love to know what inspired her to create Marie Antoinette, since it's such a charged subject that can be difficult to (relatively) fairly portray, even if it does have immense artistic potential.

16. If you could ask Marie-Antoinette or Louis XVI one question, who would you pick and what would the question be?:
I would ask Louis XVI why he demanded to travel in the heavy royal carriage when he and his family were fleeing for their lives. One of those historical stupidities that never fails to give me pause.

17. What is your favourite quote from the movie?:
Marie-Antoinette: Letting everyone down would be my greatest unhappiness.

18. With what character do you identify the most and why?: This is a toughie, but I think I identify with Marie Antoinette the most, as we've both been through similar situations. Well. As similar as a sixteen year-old can be to the queen of France. We both had to face potentially hostile situations despite being very isolated, and while our responses weren't quite the same, her first lonely years at Versailles always resonate with me.

19. Who is your favourite character and why?: Oooh, this is easy - Duchesse de Polignac! She's just so free with who she is, and knows how to enjoy herself, even if she has to step on a few people to do so. She's the perfect best friend for really any girl except perhaps a raging feminist.

20. If you were in Marie-Antoinette & Louis XVI's position, how do you think you would try to handle the situation (just before the actual start of the Revolution)?:
I would have tried much harder to work with the people, such as developing a constitutional monarchy, as well as trying for a slightly more even distribution of taxes, increasing the taxes, maybe not a lot, but a bit, on the first and second estates. And if I were Marie Antoinette, I would have adressed a lot of the slander, etc, flying around more directly, and (this would be so hard!) restrict my spending.

picTURES: this is the most recent pic i have of myself, after my haircut a few weeks ago :]
