lifeQUESTIONS

3. What are your favourite current trends?: In all honesty, I don't really follow current trends. I like some of the things that are currently popular at Hot Topic, but I don't fall to pieces if I can't buy them. I never really cared for what was popular anyway...I usually preferred to set my own trends. :D

4. What is your favourite style era from the 20th-21rst century?: I really like the tie-dye of the 60s & 70s, they seem like something that's not too girly for me, and that I could wear on a somewhat daily basis. And the 80's were really cool too, all the loud colors and geometric shapes, and the funky makeup. It makes me kind of (a little) sad I was born in '88.

5. What is your favourite style era from before the 20th & 21rst centuries?: I really like the Ancient Greek style of dress, all the variations on the woman's toga. I think it's because I wanted to be a Greek or Roman goddess when I grew up, and that always stuck with me. :)

6. Are you typically more [stereotypically] feminine or masculine when it comes to dressing yourself?: Stereotypically...probably more masculine. I prefer the ease of wear and the durability and comfort of jeans, sweats, and T-shirts. Though once in a blue moon, I'll pull something quite feminine out of my closet, causing people to double-take...like a lot. LMAO! It makes me laugh when they do.

7. Do you put a lot of effort into how you look?: Sometimes, yes. Especially if I'm trying to impress someone, or if there's something big going on that day. My friend Kirsten also noted something interesting in high school-the worse I feel, the better I look. Strange, but true. LOL!

8. What costume would you love to wear, or what is your favourite costume you have worn?: I tried on a costume in a store the other day, it was Lady Luck, and it was REALLY cool! It was green velvet, with dice on the shoulders, and a chain around the waist with good-luck charms on it, and a slit up the side. I actually looked really good in it, I was kind of surprised. :D

9. Do you prefer to wear prints or solid colours?: Usually solid colors, though there are some blouses I have with prints on them that I like to wear sometimes. I also like wearing things with sayings on them. For example, my favorite T-shirt says, "Sarcasm" in big yellow letters, then under it "Just one of my many talents". XD

10. Do you prefer to wear pastel, bright, neutral, or dark colours?: Usually bright or dark. Since I'm so fair, pastels and neutrals tend to wash me out, especially under bright lights. Though I have been known to wear pastels every once in a great while, and people look at me like I've grown a second head. LOL!

THISorTHAT

11. Long-Sleeved or Short-Sleeved: Long-sleeved, I'm rather self-concious about my arms
12. Pants or Skirts: Pants-I have to able to work and move in my clothing, or I won't really wear it
13. T-Shirts or Blouses: T-shirts, for the above reasons. Plus, it's usually easier to wash t-shirts than blouses. At least in my experience.
14. Elegance or Comfort: Definitely Comfort
15. Show Skin or Cover Skin: If I do show skin, it's my back, or a little bit of cleavage. I'm not gonna pull a JLo and have something slit up to here and cut down to there, ya know?
