"Hey Rogue, It's Max here - Hey listen, Dora's been cooking up a storm here at Buck's Poolhall in Tortuga, and it looks like we're going to have way too much food for the night - I was wondering if you and your kids would be interested in helping to lighten' the load? Maybe you could bring in some of your older kids for a hot meal, and take some back for the younger ones? It'll be a treat for your kids and it wont cost the shelter a penny. Anyway, this place is a madhouse, gotta go, hope to seeya soon."

Rogue checks her voicemail and listens with a smile. That's perfect.

Calling Max back, she leaves a quick, "Thanks for the heads up; I'll round up as many as I can find. Good thing it's soup night down at the local church, because most of the kids hate that stuff. I'll be there as soon as I can."

She went to her computer and printed a couple flyers, handing them to the kids who were loitering in the hall. "Pass those around, guys. Free food as long as it lasts, so I hear." Hannah and Mike grinned and headed in seperate directions, and Rogue left a note on the door as she locked it.

I was given a box that said I had to share the contents with someone I cared about, and while I don't know you exactly, you're about as close as they come in this town.

John,

You're definitely welcome to stay. It's been way too long. Things are going pretty well; this place is, if possible, stranger than Fandom, so pretty well is relative. I heard there were even some zombies a few months ago, but I never saw one, thankfully. I think Fandom zombied me out.

Just let me know when you plan on coming.
