On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone will drop to zero.

So, i finally read the book Fight Club. Even though they used the narration nearly exactly when they made the movie, i feel that they really didn't stick to the book in the end. Like, hardly at all. But, it was a good book. I always enjoy a Chuck Palahniuk read. Probably because all his characters are so odd, so strange. Even if you never wanted to ( Read more... )

Babies love to be late. I had my daughter on the day they were going to induce me. actually she came out at 7:30 am. The same time as my appointment to get induced.

my mom told me how all four of us were about a week late. so, i was expecting that the little guy would be late to his own party. i just want to stop waiting and have him!

sounds like your daughter has quite a sense of timing there! that's pretty funny though.

The movie was better than the book because it didn't stick to the crazy ramblings and actually made a plotline with an ending. Even Palineuk agreed that the movie was a better plotline.

Still a good book :D And good job Palineuk for making Choke a better book than movie.

ahhh, now i didn't say which one was better in my opinion. the movie is a more cohesive piece, much easier to follow. i just think the movies ending went in something of a different direction than that of the books. and most of his books kind of do the rambling, jumping from point to point in the story. i guess i'm used to it from his writing.

i heard choke was being made into a movie. i'm guessing from what you said, that it has both come out, and you've seen it. yes/no?
