This is more data.

Having seen the chart things I did this weekend for the Outlands, zephyrofgod gleefully tallied up things for Calontir for me for both their Peerages and Grants. These charts have many of the same stipulations as the ones for the Outlands - only awards given by the Crown of Calontir are counted.

This is a chart of the raw numbers of Peerages given out. It's kinda jaggedy and muddled, which is what happens with raw data. The black line shows the average number of Peerages given for that year. Note that 2011 is less than half-way over (at least, as far as court reports in the database go) - there hasn't necessarily been a huge dropoff in awards.

It's a bit jaggedy and hard to follow, in part because it's raw data and in part because the numbers are so small. So, to smooth things out, I made a set with weighted averages.

This is a weighted average that takes into account the previous two years and the following two years (10%*X-2 + 20%*X-1 + 40%*X + 20%*X+1 + 10%*X+2). The first two and last two years of this chart are rather less reliable, since they're missing data to weight against (they're somewhat adjusted to compensate). Again, the black "average" line is a plain average of the other points for the year in question (it's not re-weighted or anything).

This is a chart of the raw numbers of Grant-level Orders and plain Grants of Arms given out. It's kinda jaggedy and muddled, which is what happens with raw data. The black line shows the average number of Grants given for that year. Note that 2011 is less than half-way over (at least, as far as court reports in the database go) - there hasn't necessarily been a huge dropoff in awards.

Note: Calontir does not have a single A&S Order - they have both an Arts Order (the Lily) and a Science Order (the Hammer).

Note: Calontir's OP notes awards which come from other kingdoms, including plain Grants, which is why that data is included here, but wasn't in the Outlands charts.

Note: There's only one Eo-Hirth, so that one shows up only as its data point in both graphs; there's no sense in "averaging" a single point. I thought about doing the same with the Boga-Hirth, since there are a number of years where none of those are given out at all, but decided that there's enough data points to make it worthwhile.

Note: All the data used to compile these charts is publicly available on the Calontir OP website; thus these charts are also public information - anyone could have made them.
