i went to my sister's birthday party on friday. she's forty, so had plenty of longislands to ease the blow that our culture demands a lady consider such numericals to be. it was fun to monopolize the tiny karaoke bar, which was blessedly nonsmoking. i sang around 5songs, the most satisfying of which was kentucky rain. of course
