My two cents if you'll take itbevboJuly 27 2009, 21:18:19 UTC
Next time maybe just remember his face and let someone else run after him. I am a paranoid person by nature (actually by nurture to be more honest) and my first thought is that you never know who's gonna be carrying a weapon.

yeah it's wasn't smart but it's just how i reacted--my first instinct--i didn't know what was gone or where he was taking stuff so i figured as long as he didn't use a weapon to begin with that i might as well figure out where he was going.. i was pretty lucky nothing bad happened, i know.
first i yelled, "what are you doing in my house!?!" then he turned and started running and i said something like "no no no, wait" then there was some silent pursuit then there was a man in the alley and i yelled at him, "can you stop him? he just robbed my house!" and the man just stepped out of the way and i looked at him as i ran by and said, "thanks a lot" and he shrugged and was like "i don't know what he's running from" and i'm like "me" like i look like i could possibly be more of a threat to this man than the guy i'm chasing. haha. i just like to think of this guy explaining why he didn't get anything from our house...well this four foot tall tiny girl ran out after me and i got scared and ran away and she chased me barefoot through the alley and almost caught me...haha.
i'll be in your hood august 2nd--be ready for a call.
