summer summer
It's been an insanely busy summer so far.
Here's a peek:
cathy's wedding was a lot of fun and in a really beautiful barn at woldamur nature center.
celebrated my mom's birthday by taking her to the frederick meijer gardens in grand rapids. they had a special chihuly exhibit which was really really awesome.
then i spent the next weekend in minneapolis for the twin cities zine fair. snuck into this pic.
then last weekend i was in iowa for teresa's wedding which was insanely fun.
this is the painting i made for them...not completely done (i added a lamp on the table)
teresa looked gorgeous
they had a photobooth for picture taking which was really awesome
when we got back we discovered that a giant eyeball had landed in chicago
it's been so hot in our house, i've been icing bum down
then my computer crashed and lost three years of information. pretty awful, but i'm dealing with it.
we went to see planet earth live on monday where a live orchestra performed planet earth, it was really neat.
so now i'm just trying to piece back together what i can to find writing that i can work on putting back together.
saturday i'm doing a reading at fritz pastry at 4pm, i'm excited about it!
