They think threatening will help, but it doesn't. I'll always find another way to get what I want. When I'm legal, they can't stop me from doing anything. Hahah.
i think all filipino parents say their kids enjoy being with their friends more than family aha. it's really annoying. i used to get in fights with my dad a lot when i was 18 and he would threaten to take my keys away too. i used to say that too, how once i was done with high school i was going to leave. well i didn't leave and surprisingly i have a better relationship with my dad than i ever have before. he still gets on my nerves so much though aha.
aw, i'm glad things with your dad have gotten better! :) i wish i could say the sameeee. my parents have never been so strict before it's only because i have a boyfriend and they don't like him. but still, they just go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make me angry. it's annoyingggdsjk. they put me through so much hell.
Aw Marielle! I know this entry isn't your latest one but I just have to comment since I just saw it today, and I totally feel you. This whole week has been fighting and arguing with my mom and dad about going out and all that stuff. I love them and everything, but I can't wait for college either to get some fucking space and more freedom. Hope things shapen up for you though!<3

D: my parents are exactly the same tho, they don't want me to get a job + they say they'll give me money for stuff, but when I ask they'll say I'm spending too much of their money. ahha. and yeah, I'm pretty much never home now, especially because it's the summer and my mum always complains about how I never spend time with the family. every time I'm at home, first thing that come out my dad's mouth is a lecture about another thing I did wrong. D:
