So much stress ... so little time

Nov 28, 2007 23:07

I can't sleep. It's after 23.00, Boy's at my in-law's & Hubbie's working until late tomorrow morn. I should be dead asleep. Especially after the last three weeks. But I can't escape the thoughts tumbling in my head. Writing usually helps sort it all out but I can't find my journal. Boy must've been rearranging the books again. So fine . . . ( Read more... )

...also, my nephew still isn't talking as well, is already in speech therapy, and they're worried about the same things...he's a really kinesthetic little boy, solves puzzles, friendly too (?), etc...dunno. we're also holding our collective breaths. another friend is assuring us that some little boys get different skills down first, then the talking comes all in a rush. i dunno...

Thank you sweetie. That's so lovely of you to offer!!!

Actually, Paul doesn't have any jobs lined up after the 2nd so he should be around more to help out. But I really do appreciate you offering to give up your freetime to help me!!

Honey, would it help you at all to know that Beth didn't start talking till she was over 2 years old (and as I always joke, she hasn't shut up since)? I know there are "norms" but I also know that children will develop at their own pace. don't give up hope yet honey.

*hugs* and lots of love being sent your way.

Thank you.

It does help. And I'll probably be sticking cotton in my ears once he does get started.
