I used to give Beth oatmeal cookies all the time for breakfast. Oatmeal, raisins, I would throw in some granola or wheat germ for extra crunch. Sounds healthy to me! (I have to admit, it was usually me who had the ice cream for breakfast! And still do sometimes!)

Thanks for the support but there really was nothing healthy about his breakfast. You see, he only eats the chocoloate coating on Klondikes. He absolutely refuses to eat any of the rest of them. So, basically, I let him have cherry flavoured chocolate for breakfast.

Still, it's nice to know I'm not the only parent to do this kind of thing.

My breakfast of champions? angryjonny July 10 2008, 02:29:05 UTC
Hackneyed as it may be: martinis!

If it's good enough for Vonnegut (and to help you erase the shame of whoever you wake up next to in the morning) it's good enough for me!

Hm, maybe THAT'S what I should give the boy for breakfast. So he can grown up to be just like, um, Vonnegut? OK - maybe not.
