I see. Most women I knew who had been incarcerated in jail said they gained too MUCH weight.. from lack of exercise (and lack of drugs in the case of meth users). But I don't know of any females that were in prison, so I have no real experience in that regard.

hrrm... I know this quote is from Harry Potter:

I really had just assumed that the laws were equal for both men and women as far as the treatment of inmates is concerned. At first, it sounded like the anti-sodomy laws that are still in effect in some states; they're so outdated that they're not used anymore, but there have been personal accounts... even in my state :\
