So yesterday Andy and I spent the day visiting jewelers and looking at tons of rings. We went to actual jewelers here in Lincoln: Sartor Hamonn, Fred Wilson, Wrights, and AT Thomas. Wow. Those jewelry store ladies can be really pushy, though. I went with my sister when she was trying to decide which ring to buy. She had narrowed it down to two rings - a $5,000 one and a $3,000 one. I was trying to get her to go for the lesser one, because she doesn't have that much money, and then the saleslady glared at me and told me I was fat!!!

What!? That is way crazier. If was you and your sister I would have walked out on them right then and there. You can get the ring, or a better one somehwere else!

Feh. Turns out that my sister went for the $5,000 ring anyway. But fuck if I'm ever buying anything from them.
