I volunteered a couple of days over spring break at the party office trying to help them sort out the mess the precincts turned in. People were very inventive in making sign-in sheets. But, you're right not many seemed to be able to read and follow simple directions.
You were very brave to take on credentials. I am so glad I got to chair resolutions, that ended up being sort of fun, if I ignored all the rudeness.
I can just imagine the week you've had. Saturday had to be convention from hell.
So, maybe I'll get to meet you at state?

It was more like I was very ignorant in taking on credentials. :-)

Yeah, Saturday was, um, an adventure and a learning experience.

Nope, not going to state. Just wasn't up to that. I'll be happy to be here in Longview with my feet up. :-)

You already had my eternal respect, but you just earned it again. The guy who was the chair for our district's credentials committee looked like he hadn't slept in a week. The poor man was just done in. The rest of them looked no better.

Thank you for your hard work in the name of democracy. Seriously.

Thank you!

I'm sure I looked the same. I was definitely done in. I've been catching up on sleep the last two days. Yesterday, I slept about 7 hours, then napped for 3 in the afternoon, then slept for 9 last night. I think I'm human again. :-)

“Thank you for your hard work in the name of democracy. Seriously.” If that wasn't the cause, it wouldn't have been worth it. But it was, even if exhausting.
